5th Annual Twelve Bands of Christmas on Froggy

For the 5th year in a row we are having local bands in the Froggy studio every weekday afternoon in December performing a Christmas song. We countdown to Christmas highlighting the musical talent in and around Pittsburgh. From eastern ohio to west virginia and all over southwestern pa. The bands really rock it. Danger's Personality revealed in Pittsburgh Trib

I have had such a wild year. This was a full page in last thursdays Pittsburgh Tribune Review (10/18/07). They sent me a questionaire and I filled it out. They sent a photographer to the Froggy studio and snapped a pic of me on air one afternoon in August. Then two months later this article came out. Sweet! By the way I finished the Stephen Baldwin book and it was really inspiring. My career and FROGGY really has been blessed by God this year. I am thankful.

It happened last night at midnight. My billboard went up on the parkway west in pittsburgh near the greentree exit. It is inbound and outbound. I am pretty happy about it. Thank you Lord.

My birthday party was RAD

I celebrated my birthday with a good friend Dr Maria of KDKA tv here in Pittsburgh. We have the same bday (8/27) and had decided to have our party on the roof of six penn kitchen downtown on the 25th. It was lots of fun even though it was 90 degrees. Thanks to all who came.

Cha-cha-changes

I cut my hair and lost thirty five pounds. Oh yeah I'm gonna move too. Well just not sure where I'm moving yet. Maybe just a few miles or maybe to the moon! My friends already live in moon township :)

Anyways my show will have some fun interviews and killer prizes in the coming weeks. Chickity-check it out. The only thing thats inevitable is change. Embrace it!

This was the last night I had long hair

I went without a haircut from July 2006-July 2007. This pic was taken last friday night at Saddle Ridge (7/20). The next day I let my friend Jaclyn from My Big Fat Froggy Wedding 2007 cut all my hair off. It was fun while it lasted :)

I got to be on the field and on the jumbotron to announce Big & Rich at PNC PARK on the 4th of July. I'm a big baseball fan so it was a thrill. The Pirates beat the Brewers too!

Asley Hileman (age 21) of Peters Twp won the Froggy Idol contest on the Danger Show. She sang "Before he Cheats" on the Pepsi Roadhouse stage at the Lonestar and Ruff Creek show.

Fort Pitt Block House to get new roof
Thursday, May 24, 2007The Associated Press
The roof of the Fort Pitt Block House at Point State Park will be replaced next month, officials said.
The current cedar shake roof was installed in 1948 on top of the structure, which is a National Historic Landmark and the city's oldest building.
A Carnegie-based company will volunteer labor and materials to build a new roof, saving about $20,000, said Kelly Linn, curator of the block house.
A historic preservationist and archaeologist will be on hand to examine and document the 18th century architecture and recover any historical artifacts that might be found in the attic.

Froggy Idol spring 2007

One thing I know for sure. People love to compete in talent contests. People love to see how their ability stacks up against others. Calling into Froggy and singing on air is just one of the ways to do it. The Froggy Idol continues today from 4pm-6pm. Then the FINALS on thursday. By the way country singer Miranda Lambert will be crashing the party on thursday too.

I pick Tiger Woods to win. I know what your thinking "Danger why would you waste your pick on such a long shot".....Well let me tell you I think this guy has a pretty good golf game.

Oh yeah. Tiger Woods is coming to Pittsburgh in June for the US Open at Oakmont. That is cool. He has already been here some practicing. I know, I know, you spotted him at Primanti Bros in the strip or saw him walking on the southside wearing moon boots.

But regardless look for him to add to his trophy case at the major in the burgh. I look forward to watching.

Backstage at the Pepsi Roadhouse with Josh Gracin

For all Froggy employees the Pepsi Roadhouse is a home away from home. When I moved here over five years ago one of the first things I did was work a show there. If you have not noticed Froggy presents every country concert at the Pepsi Roadhouse.

Country fans love the intimate setting. You just cannot get closer to the musicians. We have had countless sell outs and so many times the stars have signed autographs and met or taken pictures with fan after fan.

Country stars are the best. They love and respect their fans. This picture is with Josh Gracin. He was an American Idol finalist a few years back. Remember the soldier. Anyways he put on a great sow at the Pepsi Roadhouse last saturday. My dad flew in from Memphis and I took him to the show.

The Pepsi Roadhouse has been nominated for CMA awards for Best Venue and we recently celebrated our 100th country show there with Taylor Swift and Froggy.

Froggy wins 55-54 on Danger's last second three pointer! Froggy vs Povertyneck Hillbillies charity basketball game (4/25).

Thanks to Uniontown High School for being wonderful hosts! Also a big thanks to the Povertyneck Hillbillies and all the Froggy fans for coming out to help us raise over $3000 for PROJECT READ.

I could not believe it when I got the ball with ten seconds to go in the game and we were losing by two. I shot a three pointer with three seconds left in the game and I made it. Froggy wins 55-54!!!!

Spring is here

Wow Pittsburgh is so beautiful! Even on a foggy day. You can see the west end bridge peaking through the morning fog and downtown Pittsburgh where the three rivers meet in the background.

Jason Aldean goes PLATINUM

Congrats to Jason Aldean. His self-titled debut release, which includes one of my favorites "Hicktown," written by John Rich, "Why" and the sweet country song about a farmer who just rides his tractor everyday and prays that his crops and children grow "Amarillo Sky" has been certified platinum. Meaning he has sold over one MILLION copies.

"The past 12 months has been a crazy year of firsts," Jason said. "My first award nominations, first No. 1 single and now my first platinum album. It's something every new artist dreams about."

This past week Jason was nominated for "Song of the Year" and "Video of the Year" by the Academy of Country Music.

Jason's has a new cd titled "Relentless" coming out May 29. "Johnny Cash" is the first release and Froggy listeners have been calling my show requesting it.

We had Jason at Saddle Ridge last year and he rocked the house. He really brings alot of energy and great songs to the stage. He will be opening for Rascal Flatts at the Post Gazette Pavillion with Froggy in August.

It's done. Anna Nicole Smith has been buried. Finally. The former playboy model had to wait weeks while money grubbing friends and family fought over her body so that they could make money from media outlets.

It makes sense to me now that Anna Nicole would marry an elderly billionaire. Now that I have seen her own mother profit from her daughters funeral. It runs in the family.

I was really surprised to hear that country singer Joe Nichols sang at the funeral in the Bahamas. They met a couple years back at the Grand Ole Opry. According to Anna's boyfriend Stern she was a big fan of Nichols.

Now we get to hear the men argue about who is the babies daddy for the next few months. For all the wrong reasons. In my opinion.

Olsen Twins earn 40 million dollars

Let me make sure I have their names right. Mary Kate and Ashley. They combined to earn 40 million last year. That is the most for any under 21 year olds. Also just slightly more than I earned.

I don't know about you but when I used to watch "Full House" as a child I thought to myself "these twins are gonna be loaded one day".

Sign me up for the Olsen Twin fan club. They got the winning formula. Fame, Money and Twin Blondes. Yee-haw.

Who is Anna Nicole's Babies Daddy?

I wanna know. Is it Stern? Is it the California lover Birkhead? Is it Ja Ja Babore (whatever her name is) husband? Is it me? I just gotta know.

I won't sleep until I know.......Snooooooooore.

My bet is that its the boyfriend from california. If it is he should get his daughter immediately. Its a shame it is taking so long for whoever the father is to find out.

Beyonce Marries Country DJ

Beyonce and Danger a country DJ in Pittsburgh marry after a torrid love affair.

They are honeymooning in a undisclosed beach house on a tropical island. DO NOT DISTURB! All I can say about these swimsuit issue pics is Droooooooooooooool.

Britney not doing so well

If a picture says a thousand words. Then this one of Britney Spears says "Not Well" or maybe "Help Me". We all have tough times. Things like divorce, embarassment, paparrazzi taking pictures of us with no underwear on and etc. But most of us don't shave our heads and check into rehab. Britney has two small children. They need her.

But maybe this all a show. When you get into being a celebrity. The lines of reality blur. When people will pay a million dollars to film your daughters funeral (anna nicole smith) you really can throw right or wrong out the window. Most of us will never ever live with these scenarios or problems.

Crank up Brad Paisley's "Celebrity" and lets just hope that Britney does not really lose it. I don;t know her. I am not a fan of her music. I know she is a pretty girl who has made alot of money. She has children. Can she hold it together?

It seems to me that when a beautiful young woman shaves her head for no reason that she is not all together at the moment. But who knows maybe this will be the next trend. After all it has been said that "bald is beautiful".

Why didn't we think of this? Girl hiccups for over a month...HICCUP!

One time on the radio in about 1998. I had the hiccups for a whole show and everyone was calling in telling me how to get rid of the hiccups. It turned out I was dehydrated. I needed to drink more water. It was actually very painful after a couple hours. This girl cannot be enjoying this. Unless its all a play to make the news?

Who would have known??? All we had to do was hiccup for a couple of weeks and we could have been national stars with all expense paid trips to New York and networks fighting over our interview.
